The Crowd are partnered with a UHNW family’s Lifestyle and Design Team to appoint a talented and enthusiastic Interior Designer with experience in the ultra-luxury residential sector. This is a rare opportunity to step into a sole-designer role with full creative ownership across a portfolio of high-value properties in the UK and overseas.
The ideal candidate will have strong experience in high-end residential interiors, a confident approach to FF&E and styling, and a passion for bold, eclectic and maximalist design. You will work directly with the Principal, shaping the aesthetic direction and delivering projects end-to-end with a high level of autonomy and discretion. This role is perfect for a designer seeking long-term growth into a lead designer position, taking ownership of multiple properties and shaping a cohesive design language across the entire estate. Key Responsibilities- Lead the interior design and styling projects across multiple estates
- Develop bold, eclectic concept schemes, FF&E packages and materials palettes
- Create a cohesive long-term aesthetic across the estate while tailoring each property’s character
- Source and procure furniture, fabrics, wallpapers, lighting and accessories
- Commission bespoke pieces and work directly with makers
- Build and maintain a materials library and supplier network
- Oversee the full project lifecycle
- Coordinate suppliers, contractors and logistics across UK, US and European sites
- Manage multiple live projects, responding quickly to shifting priorities
- 5-6 years’ experience in high-end residential or boutique hospitality
- A strong, expressive portfolio with FF&E-led interiors
- Excellent FF&E, sourcing and styling ability, including bespoke furniture and materials selection
- Experience delivering projects from concept through to installation with clear ownership
- Confident working independently and making decisions with minimal supervision
- Strong organisational skills across procurement, budgeting and supplier management
- Comfortable coordinating multiple properties and international logistics
- A self-starter with enthusiasm, initiative and a passion for decorative detail
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work discreetly with UHNW individuals
- Proficient design software (AutoCAD/Vectorworks, InDesign, SketchUp, etc.)
