Responsibilities
- Ownership of physical server health, lifecycle, and readiness
- Hardware fault investigation and coordination to resolution
- Vendor case management, escalations, and RMAs
- Planning and executing refresh, replacement, and firmware activities
- Working with data centre teams on installs, cabling, and break/fix
- Maintaining asset accuracy, lifecycle status, and documentation
- Supporting capacity and growth planning initiatives
Must-Haves
- 5+ years in server / hardware / data centre infrastructure roles
- Deep understanding of enterprise server components and diagnostics
- Practical experience with HPE OneView, iLO, and Redfish APIs
- Linux exposure for provisioning and troubleshooting
- NetBox or similar CMDB / asset tools
- Ansible or infrastructure automation experience
- Vendor management and RMA handling experience
- Enterprise hardware platforms: HPE, Dell, Supermicro, Lenovo
- Strong ownership mindset and documentation discipline
Nice-to-Have
- Experience in low-latency, HPC, or financial environments
- Observability tooling (Prometheus, Grafana, VictoriaLogs)
- Firmware lifecycle programs at scale
- Python / Bash scripting
- Capacity planning or refresh program exposure
