In this role, you will lead the development and implementation of quality assurance processes, analyze performance data to spot opportunities for improvement, and collaborate closely with maintenance teams to optimize fleet dependability. What You'll Do
- Quality Assurance Leadership
- Build, enhance, and implement quality assurance protocols across maintenance, repair, and inspection activities.
- Continuously update quality control procedures in line with The Go-Ahead Way, industry expectations, and regulatory requirements.
- Performance Monitoring & Improvement
- Set and monitor KPIs to benchmark operational performance.
- Analyse data trends and provide insights that drive improved efficiency and reliability.
- Champion continuous improvement initiatives across fleet operations.
- Compliance & Safety Management
- Ensure adherence to all relevant safety standards and regulations.
- Work with regulatory bodies to stay ahead of compliance updates.
- Vendor, Supplier & Asset Quality Oversight
- Partner with suppliers to guarantee the quality and reliability of parts and components.
- Assess and select trusted suppliers for critical fleet assets.
- Audit Coordination & Action Planning
- Lead internal and external audits across the fleet.
- Develop clear action plans to address findings and raise quality standards.
- Training & Development
- Deliver training to fleet maintenance teams on QA processes and safety protocols.
