Are you ready to lead transformative finance change initiatives for one of the UK's leading insurance firms? We're looking for a Finance Business Analyst who can own and deliver complex programmes end-to-end, driving innovation and compliance across critical finance systems.
What You'll Do
- Lead the charge on finance change programmes from inception to delivery.
- Manage cross-functional teams including Business Analysts, UAT Managers, and Solution Architects.
- Partner with senior stakeholders (CFO Office, Finance Ops, Actuarial) to align priorities and deliver impactful outcomes.
- Ensure regulatory and audit compliance throughout the change lifecycle.
- Conduct as-is/to-be process mapping and gap analysis for systems like Oracle ERP, BMS, and FDP.
- Define and document business requirements, user stories, and acceptance criteria.
- Oversee UAT planning and execution, including defect triage and resolution.
- Collaborate with data governance, architecture, and delivery teams to ensure solution integrity.
- Facilitate workshops and SME interviews to validate requirements and drive clarity.
What We're Looking For
- Proven experience delivering finance transformation programmes.
- Experience working at a General Insurance company.
- Understanding of accountancy e.g. Credit and debit.
- Strong stakeholder engagement skills at senior levels.
- Expertise in finance systems (Oracle ERP, BMS, FDP).
- Ability to multitask with multiple projects at once.
- Solid understanding of regulatory and audit requirements.
- Exceptional leadership and communication skills.
