We are excited to be recruiting for an Operations Engineer role working for an industry-leading cybersecurity company based in London, providing the opportunity to work remotely. Already well-established within the cyber-security sector, they have experienced rapid sales in recent years, which has opened up several career opportunities for cybersecurity professionals. This role is working within the fast-paced, dynamic and varied Ops team delivering an excellent service to clients, and is ideally suited to a cyber-security professional looking for a fast-paced scale-up environment, where hard work is rewarded by fast career progression and an exciting career trajectory.
Location: Hybrid London - min 2 days a week on site
Salary: £35,000 - £50,000 per annum + benefits + fast career growth
Qualifications
- Ideally you will have at least one year of commercial experience in a client-facing role with a cybersecurity focus - i.e. Consultant, Technical Support, Service Delivery, Operations Engineer etc.
- This company values a strong academic history so is looking for a 2.1 or 1st class degree in Computer Science or CyberSecurity, or a closely related subject from a highly-ranked University
- You achieved at least AAB at A Level or equivalent UCAS points
- Strong knowledge within cybersecurity
- Brilliant communication skills – this role is going to involve interacting with both internal colleagues and external clients so this is key
- You love the idea of working for a dynamic start-up where you will gain a breadth of skills
- You are a hardworking, self-starter - this may sound cliché but given the start-up and remote nature of the role, these attributes are vital.
- You thrive on problem-solving and have a passion for technology
- Solid understanding of Security Networking, Microsoft Windows OS and Active Directory
- Any experience in SOC or pen testing is beneficial
Responsibilities
- Working within Service Delivery in the Operations Team you will cover 3 main areas within the business and your time will be split between:
- Manage client relationships
- Working on Security Roadmaps for Clients
- Post-sales technical support & troubleshooting of issues
- IT administration and sysadmin
- There is the opportunity to work on some pen-testing and SOC focussed projects for those with experience in these
