Role Summary
The CQC Compliance Manager role is an essential part of the Clinic, supporting the Senior Leadership Team, acting as the day‑to‑day lead for all matters related to the Care Quality Commission and ensuring we adhere to the necessary standards and regulations.
Role Duties
- Responsible for ensuring the policies, procedures, guidelines, infrastructures, systems and processes of the organisation meet and continue to meet the applicable statutory, regulatory, and compliance requirements.
- Support the Senior Leadership Team in administering the statutory, regulatory, and compliance requirements, including compiling responses to regulators and inspection preparation.
- Responsible for the compliance audit plan and ensuring that compliance audits are conducted in accordance with required timelines.
- To keep abreast of the latest developments regarding HFEA, CQC, MHRA, HSE, Data Protection (GDPR) /ICO, Home Office, and any other relevant regulators.
- Ensure the team is kept up to date with any changes to legislation and provide guidance.
Qualification/Experience for Role
- Proven experience as a CQC Compliance Manager, or equivalent role, within healthcare desired.
- CQC Inspector experience desired.
- Strong understanding of CQC regulations and requirements required.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills for interacting with patients, staff, and regulatory bodies required.
- Current or recent experience of working within a healthcare management and team management-based role required.
About Mamedica
Mamedica is a private clinic, with linked pharmacy, which specialises in assisting patients who may not have found satisfactory results for their conditions via their existing medications. We work with consultants specialising within pain, psychiatry, neurology, palliative care and cancer, so our patients can receive their prescribed medication directly to their door, via next‑day delivery service. Our prescribed medicines are produced and manufactured according to the pharmaceutical‑grade EU‑GMP (Good Manufacturing Practice).
