The Client Success and Events Manager Opportunity
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a talented Client Success and Event Manager to join the phenomenally successful IHR team. This role is perfect for an ambitious, highly organised individual looking to advance their career in event management.
The events team organises, oversees, and manages 40+ in-person and virtual events per year for our community members, ranging from our 1000-strong exhibitions and high-profile awards to exclusive half-day member events and webinars.
Whilst we have an office based in London for work and social collaboration, we operate a hybrid home/office working model.
About You
As the Client Success and Event Manager, you will play a critical role in ensuring our clients have an outstanding experience with our events. You will be responsible for managing client relationships, overseeing event planning and execution, and ensuring client satisfaction throughout the process. This role requires a proactive, organised, and client-focused individual who can seamlessly manage multiple tasks and projects.
To be considered for this opportunity, you will have the expertise in the following areas:
- Proven experience in client success, account management, and event management
- Exceptional organisational and project management skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities
- Keen eye for detail, with a focus on delivering high-quality results
- Outstanding interpersonal and communication skills

- Flexibility on UK travel as required by event schedules
Key responsibilities
- Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, addressing their needs and ensuring their satisfaction
- Manage agendas, coordinate speakers, and ensure presentation slides meet event standards
- Plan, coordinate, and execute the various events from inception to completion, including conferences, webinars, awards, and exhibitions
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure seamless delivery
- Monitor and report on the success of client engagements and events, identifying areas for improvement
