We're working with a global marketing communications group that's building something genuinely different in the media trading space. They're hiring a Business Development Manager to help grow a specialist trading division focused on delivering measurable commercial return from traditional media investment.

This is a role for someone who's confident opening doors, holding senior conversations and turning complex value propositions into long-term client partnerships.

The opportunity

You'll be responsible for winning and onboarding brands with significant spend across traditional media channels, including OOH, TV, print, cinema and radio. Working alongside existing media agencies, you'll help clients unlock incremental value from their media budgets through a trading-led commercial model that benefits brands, agencies and media owners alike. You'll be engaging directly with CMOs, CFOs and procurement teams, identifying opportunity, building trust and driving deals through to execution.

What They’re Looking For

  • 4+ years’ experience in business development, partnerships or commercial sales
  • Confidence operating at senior stakeholder level
  • Strong consultative selling skills
  • A commercial mindset with curiosity around media, trading and value-led solutions
  • Experience selling into brands with meaningful traditional media spend is a strong advantage

Why this role stands out

  • Exposure to major global brands across FMCG, retail, automotive, tech and entertainment
  • A genuinely differentiated proposition in a crowded media market
  • High-impact, hands-on role with clear revenue ownership
  • Strong earning potential through commission
  • Hybrid working with a London office base

This role is best suited to someone who enjoys complex sales, understands the realities of traditional media, and wants to build something rather than inherit a patch. If this sounds like you, or you'd like a confidential chat, drop me a message.
