We are looking for a Business Development Manager for our client - a global leading manufacturer of valves, pipe joining systems and affiliated flow control equipment. You will be responsible for driving strategic business development initiatives and expanding market presence and influence within the data centre and critical mission infrastructure sector.
The data centre department consists of experienced commercial, technical and service experts who support large-scale projects and key accounts across the region. You will work in close collaboration with national and international sales teams, regional managers and internal business units.
Responsibilities
- Build strong relationships with key stakeholders and drive profitable business growth within your assigned portfolio and target accounts.
- Identify major projects and engage early with planning offices, owners and engineers to promote solutions across mechanical, piping and flow control systems.
- Monitor and strengthen the connection between customers, project partners and the business to ensure long-term satisfaction and engagement.
- Utilise CRM Salesforce and other tools to track project participants, deadlines and opportunities, and to identify areas for growth and action.

- You are a technically driven, outgoing and self-confident professional who thrives on developing relationships and delivering value within the data centre and critical mission infrastructure market.
- You have a strong ability to understand customer, owner and engineer needs and translate them into practical, solution-based approaches.
- Technical knowledge through experience within mechanical, piping, flow control systems, or related markets.
- Established relationships with mechanical owner groups within the data centre or critical infrastructure market.
- Proven track record in business development, sales and account management within complex, project-based environments.
- Experience identifying major projects and engaging early with planning offices and key stakeholders.
