As the new Business Development Manager, you will play a central role in expanding broker relationships, driving loan origination, and elevating the lender’s national presence. You will be the face of the business across your region, building on existing connections while opening new channels for growth.
Responsibilities- Develop and grow a high-quality network of brokers, intermediaries and professional introducers.
- Originate new bridging and development finance opportunities aligned with the lender’s appetite.
- Conduct face-to-face broker meetings, site visits and networking events across the UK.
- Manage the full lifecycle of deals from enquiry to completion, working closely with underwriting and credit teams.
- Provide market intelligence and feedback to support ongoing product and service enhancement.
- Represent the brand with professionalism, integrity and a solutions-focused approach.
- Deliver consistently against agreed KPIs, revenue targets and growth plans.
- Experience within bridging finance, ideally from a boutique or specialist lender.
- Strong working knowledge of bridging, refurbishment and development case structures.
- A proven track record in business development, relationship management or loan origination.
- Confident networker with an ability to win trust and influence at all levels.
- Commercially intelligent, deal-savvy and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.
- Self-motivated with a strong drive to grow, succeed and exceed expectations.
