Kinara Group is recruiting for a Sales Specialist to join a well-established and growing diagnostics organisation with a strong footprint across hospital and laboratory customers in the UK. This is a field-based commercial role focused on developing long-term customer partnerships, driving reagent and instrument adoption, and supporting laboratories with high-quality diagnostic solutions across a defined northern territory.
The Role
- Territory Sales and Account Management
- Manage and grow a defined territory across Northern England, building relationships with NHS and private laboratory customers.
- Drive sales of diagnostic reagents, consumables, and instrumentation through structured account planning.
- Identify new business opportunities within existing accounts and across new customer sites.
- Maintain accurate pipeline management and forecasting.
- Customer Engagement and Support
- Act as the primary commercial contact for laboratory and procurement stakeholders.
- Support customers through product introductions, evaluations, and implementations.
- Work closely with internal technical, applications, and service teams to ensure high levels of customer satisfaction.
- Gather market and customer insight to inform commercial strategy.
- Commercial Execution
- Execute regional sales plans aligned to national commercial objectives.
- Support tender activity and pricing discussions in collaboration with internal stakeholders.
- Represent the organisation at regional events, user meetings, and exhibitions.
Candidate Profile
- Proven experience in field-based sales within in vitro diagnostics, laboratory supplies, or life sciences.
- Strong understanding of hospital and laboratory purchasing environments.
- Comfortable managing long sales cycles and multiple stakeholders.
- Commercially driven, organised, and relationship-led in approach.
- Strong communication and presentation skills.
- Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel extensively within territory.
