I am currently looking to recruit a Compliance and Technical Manager with a good understanding of compliance processes to join a leading electronics business based in West Yorkshire. This is a truly forward thinking and innovative organisation where the rewards and benefits are excellent, and the promotion of a healthy work / life balance is at the core of their values.
The Compliance and Technical Manager will be responsible for the provision of legal compliance on product quality and legislation, ensuring all of the products the company brings to market meet quality, safety and legislative standards. Working closely with Purchasing, Product Management, Supply Chain, Warehousing and Logistics, you will own and manage the compliance documentation process. You will also play a leading role in negating performance and health & safety risks when bringing products to market.
To be considered for the position, you need to have a proven track record of success in a Technical, Quality and / or Compliance Management role where you will have developed excellent technical product knowledge of electronics, automation or technical components. You will have a good understanding of the Waste Electrical and Electronic Equipment Directive (WEEE) and be familiar with the compliance and CE Marking elements of the industry including REACh and RoHS. On top of this, you will have good communication and people skills, with the ability to build relationships and influence both internal and external stakeholders.
For the successful applicant, you will be given the opportunity to earn a competitive basic salary dependent on experience, generous holiday allowance, contributory pension, other flexible benefits and flexible working around core hours.
