Manager Infrastructure Platform services – contract (Inside IR35) Senior infrastructure leadership role delivered by a specialized technology consultancy on a high-growth trajectory, supporting a flagship financial services / insurance client with a large, business-critical technology estate. This role sits at the centre of platform stability and transformation.
You will be responsible for keeping core infrastructure services running reliably while shaping platform strategy, supplier performance, and the transition away from legacy technologies.

What you will be doing
- Owning BAU performance across infrastructure platforms.
- Leading platform product owners covering compute, storage, networks, security, databases, and legacy environments.
- Setting and executing infrastructure platform strategy and roadmaps.
- Driving service reliability, operational governance, and SLA performance.
- Overseeing infrastructure delivery into major transformation programmes.
- Managing third-party suppliers and commercial performance.
- Leading decommissioning of legacy platforms.
- Ensuring compliance with regulatory and security standards.
What we are looking for
- Senior infrastructure services management experience in complex environments.
- Strong background across datacentre, co-lo, and cloud IaaS.
- Experience working in regulated financial services or insurance.
- Proven stakeholder and vendor management capability.
