We are looking for a Head of Operations to ensure clients benefit from a consistently exceptional and reliable infrastructure experience across a national data centre estate. You’ll champion standards, optimise processes, strengthen compliance, and help shape a culture of excellence and sustainability.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Lead the development and delivery of standard operating procedures across our data centres
- Drive consistency, quality, and continuous improvement in operational performance
- Ensure full compliance and provide clear reporting for internal and external audits
- Train and support operational teams so that procedures are understood and adopted
- Maintain and publish a live library of operational procedures and improvement updates
- Own data centre operational risks – embedding enhancements into processes
- Keep ahead of industry best practice and evolving compliance standards
About You
You bring a blend of leadership, process excellence, and operational discipline, with the ability to influence across teams and ensure high‑quality, repeatable delivery.
Essential Qualifications
- Proven leadership in operational standards and continuous improvements
- Experience in data centre operations or critical infrastructure environments
- Strong understanding of compliance and regulatory frameworks
- Excellent communication, documentation, and stakeholder influence skills
- High attention to detail, structured and methodical mindset
- Full UK driving licence
Desirable
- Experience writing and embedding operational procedures
- Knowledge of ISO standards such as ISO 9001, ISO 27001, ISO 14001, ISO 50001
