VNI Finance is delighted to be supporting our key client, based in the city centre of Glasgow with the recruitment of a Data Protection Analyst. This is a highly visible role, working across senior stakeholders in the business. This would suit an individual with a proven track record in the data protection space, with sound working knowledge of GDPR compliance framework.

Role Overview

  • Maintain and continuously improve the organisation’s GDPR compliance framework
  • Support the Data Protection Officer (DPO) in delivering compliance, audits and reporting
  • Maintain Records of Processing Activities (RoPA) and data inventories
  • Support the management of data protection impact assessments (DPIAs) and risk assessments
  • Advise stakeholders on privacy-by-design and privacy-by-default
  • Act as a trusted advisor to HR, Finance, IT, Marketing and Operations
  • Review and advise on contracts, data sharing agreements and supplier due diligence
  • Support projects involving new systems, CRM platforms and digital initiatives

Candidate Background

  • 2 plus years in a similar data protection role
  • Self-starter
  • Experience in data protection, GDPR or information governance
  • Good stakeholder experience
