As a Theatre Practitioner in our Ambulatory Care Unit at our Glasgow Hospital you are registered with the appropriate governing body and hold the relevant qualifications and experience, including NMC or HPC. You bring a passion for high standards, a meticulous eye for detail, post‑registration experience, and you are ophthalmic trained with great communication skills. You are a focused, flexible and motivated team worker and a committed member of a multidisciplinary team.

Responsibilities:
  • Be part of our close‑knit multidisciplinary team.
  • Work with leading consultants and like‑minded professionals who respect and value what you bring.
  • Enjoy a varied caseload with state‑of‑the‑art technology, equipment and facilities.
  • Work in a fast‑paced environment.
  • Supervise, support and develop junior members of staff.
  • Create high‑quality care and patient experiences that are clinically effective and evidence‑based.
  • Interact well with colleagues on the ward, understanding that continuity in patient care is key.
  • Surgical specialities include Endoscopy, Ophthalmology, Urology and local anaesthetic surgeries.
