Position Summary
We are looking for a creative, operational and commercially astute Product Development Manager to join our team and shape the next generation of Contiki adventures. The role focuses on the ideation, sourcing, costing and development of new products in Europe, translating global strategy into local briefs and ensuring the Contiki brand promise is consistently delivered.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough research of new potential destinations in Europe.
- Analyse the existing Contiki global product line and propose new ideas where gaps exist.
- Perform competitor analysis of the travel landscape.
- Conduct road recces to assess new product suitability.
- Create and complete briefs for new product development.
- Manage internal communications and brief teams (marketing, contact centres, sales) on new products.
- Cost and contract newly developed product ideas (Europe).
- Collaborate with Travel Experiences, Operations, Brand, and Marketing teams to launch products on time.
- Represent Contiki with suppliers and at trade shows such as ITB, WYSTC, and WTM.
- Perform quality control on ongoing products.
