Overview:
Joining as their Quality Manager, you’ll be instrumental in driving the food safety culture across the factory. As a key member of the Technical and Quality team and the number one technical lead for this site, you’ll proactively manage relationships with customer technical counterparts. Your confidence and ability will extend to assisting with customer audits and visits, working closely with the Operations team to ensure quality systems and procedures are followed across the site.
Key Responsibilities:
- Drive the food safety culture across the factory.
- Proactively manage relationships with customer technical counterparts.
- Assist with customer audits and visits.
- Work closely with the Operations team to ensure quality systems and procedures are followed.
- Ensure the site maintains its BRC AA accreditation by meeting retailer codes of practice and quality standards.
- Lead the laboratory team, reporting to a Quality Technologist.
Requirements:
Experience within a fast-paced food manufacturing facility and practical understanding of the retailer’s codes of practice and quality standards.
