A new opportunity is available for a Low Rise Technical Manager responsible for coordinating the technical design process for low rise residential developments. The role requires strong technical understanding, effective coordination skills and experience managing multiple projects simultaneously.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide technical support throughout design and construction stages
- Coordinate consultant teams and ensure accurate flow of design information
- Review drawings, specifications and engineering details for compliance and buildability
- Support risk management and ensure technical accuracy across documentation
- Attend internal design workshops and contribute to project decision making
- Review land packs, feasibility designs and planning information
- Support pre and post planning technical submissions
- Assist with design standards, specifications and project budgets
- Resolve technical issues raised by site teams and respond to RFIs
- Participate in benchmarking reviews and provide feedback
Candidate Requirements
- Experience in residential technical design management
- Strong knowledge of low rise traditional construction
- Understanding of architectural and engineering coordination
- Familiarity with Building Regulations, planning requirements and NHBC standards
- Strong communication and coordination skills
- Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast paced environment
