Join an innovative AI start-up transforming manufacturing in London. This fast-growing technology company is building intelligent edge systems that bring AI-powered machine vision directly onto factory floors. They are seeking an Embedded Edge Systems Engineer to own the design, optimisation and productisation of edge platforms — spanning embedded hardware, Linux-based software and real-world deployment. You’ll work closely with AI, hardware and deployment teams, helping turn cutting-edge research into robust, scalable systems deployed across customer sites.
Responsibilities
- Own the design, optimisation and productisation of edge platforms spanning embedded hardware and Linux-based software.
- Collaborate with AI, hardware and deployment teams to deploy robust, scalable systems across customer sites.
Qualifications
- Strong experience building and shipping embedded or edge systems end-to-end.
- Solid experience with Linux-based embedded platforms.
- Hands-on experience with edge hardware such as Raspberry Pi, Nvidia Jetson, cameras or similar.
- Ability to work close to hardware — installation, optimisation and troubleshooting.
- Experience supporting OTA updates and system reliability in the field.
- Ideally, experience with video pipelines, machine vision or high-throughput data systems.
