The Role

Work in the workshop in Cheshire and on customer sites across the UK, with potential travel up to five days a week. Tasks include:

  • Undertake system commissioning/calibrations on client sites, addressing concerns arising during commissioning.
  • Test communications and conduct end‐to‐end testing including Site Acceptance Tests and Factory Acceptance Tests.
  • Communicate and provide technical support to the client to address customer‐specific issues.
  • Provide technical support to Installation Technicians and Service Engineers to address in‐house issues, deploying all forms of communication.
  • Provide commissioning advice to Design Engineers in the development of commissioning strategy and plan.
  • Compile all reports and documentation and dispatch them in a timely manner as directed by the Service & Technical Support Manager.

We're Looking For

  • 5+ years of commissioning experience with at least 2 years working independently.
  • Gas instrumentation technical background including analyzers and various meter systems.
  • Strong background in electrical/electronic engineering (HNC/HND).
  • Knowledge of PLCs, pressure systems, and system fault‐finding.
  • Ability to understand and interpret electrical and mechanical drawings, able to advise clients on the drawings and specifications.
  • Full UK driving licence with no more than 6 points for insurance purposes.
