The Role
Work in the workshop in Cheshire and on customer sites across the UK, with potential travel up to five days a week. Tasks include:
- Undertake system commissioning/calibrations on client sites, addressing concerns arising during commissioning.
- Test communications and conduct endâtoâend testing including Site Acceptance Tests and Factory Acceptance Tests.
- Communicate and provide technical support to the client to address customerâspecific issues.
- Provide technical support to Installation Technicians and Service Engineers to address inâhouse issues, deploying all forms of communication.
- Provide commissioning advice to Design Engineers in the development of commissioning strategy and plan.
- Compile all reports and documentation and dispatch them in a timely manner as directed by the Service & Technical Support Manager.
We're Looking For
- 5+ years of commissioning experience with at least 2 years working independently.
- Gas instrumentation technical background including analyzers and various meter systems.
- Strong background in electrical/electronic engineering (HNC/HND).
- Knowledge of PLCs, pressure systems, and system faultâfinding.
- Ability to understand and interpret electrical and mechanical drawings, able to advise clients on the drawings and specifications.
- Full UK driving licence with no more than 6 points for insurance purposes.
