Meraki Talent, an award winning boutique recruitment agency based in Edinburgh is looking for a Trainee IT Recruitment Consultant to join them on their next step in their evolution. A fantastic opportunity for someone looking to develop their career, you will have the opportunity to work alongside some of the biggest household names in the world. We are looking for someone of a graduate calibre, or equivalent work experience coming from a sales background, with the right mindset. You will be recruiting for technology professionals across the UK, within an exciting period as AI and Data grips and develops the commercial world.
Key responsibilities
- Source new leads within the technology and change market across the UK utilising a variety of mediums
- Map out and navigate existing clients to source new roles and opportunities
- Fulfil and resource existing recruitment mandates across the technology landscape
- Network yourself face to face and over the telephone with technology contacts across the UK
What you’ll bring
- Experience working in recruitment is handy but is not essential. We’re looking for people with a sales driven mindset and/or sales experience is essential
- Communication skills are key, both written and verbal. You need to be a master of the spoken and written word!
- Attention to detail skills are key. Everything thinks they have this, few do!
- People skills. This is a people game, you need to be able to talk to and meet a variety of stakeholders, to a C-Suite level
