Pladis is looking for an energetic Wholesale Territory Manager to drive sales of our iconic snack ranges across the UK convenience and independent sector.
Location: Croydon & surrounding areas
Contract: Permanent, Full Time – 40 hours Monday to Friday
Salary: £29,000 per annum (pro rata) + 10% performance related bonus, company car & fuel card and a wide range of benefits.
Responsibilities:
- Call on and build relationships with the top 10 wholesale partners, influencing space, range, promotional compliance and attending sales events.
- Actively manage shelf life quality of stock, ensure rotation, utilise bay space and palletised displays.
- Represent a wide range of Pladis brands including McVitie’s biscuits, Jaffa Cakes, Flipz and other key products.
- Provide excellent customer service in store, maintaining strong contacts, and managing key accounts efficiently.
- Perform manual handling and heavy lifting stock and travel daily across assigned territory.
Qualifications:
- Experience in a field‑based sales role within convenience, independents or impulse environment.
- Self‑motivated, driven by KPI‑driven targets and high resilience and energy.
- Excellent communication skills and confident building relationships with key contacts.
- Full UK manual driving licence (no more than 6 points, no bans) and successful DVLA licence check.
- Willing to travel regularly and handle manual lifting; overnight stays may be required on occasion.
