Alexander Lloyd are delighted to be partnering a large business based in Crawley on the hire of a Group Procurement Officer on a permanent basis. Join a dynamic procurement team, managing supplier relationships, optimising costs, and driving sustainability initiatives.
Responsibilities
- Oversee procurement sub-categories and suppliers
- Run tenders and negotiate contracts (up to £1.5m spend)
- Conduct market research on trends, pricing & sustainability
- Mitigate supply risks and support continuous improvement
- Analyse supplier performance and assist in new supplier approvals
What We’re Looking For (Qualifications)
- 2–4 years of experience in procurement or related fields
- Solid foundational knowledge of procurement processes with strong analytical capabilities.
- Demonstrated ability to build and maintain effective relationships and resolve problems efficiently
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
- Strong influencing and persuasion skills
- Actively pursuing or studying CIPS is an advantage
