The Opportunity: This is a pivotal role within the Indirect Procurement – Global Estates function, taking overall responsibility for contract management, Supplier Relationship Management (SRM), and regional sourcing activities. You will lead the execution of global strategies at a local level, ensuring commercial value and operational excellence across the estates' spend.
Key Accountabilities & Responsibilities:
- Strategic Sourcing: Support the Strategic Category Plan (SCP) by providing local market intelligence and executing sourcing for regional spend.
- Contract Implementation: Responsible for implementing global contracts and managing the Regional/Local one-off purchase process by exception.
- Supplier Relationship Management (SRM): Organize and conduct supplier business reviews, maintain SRPS action plans, and ensure effective performance management.
- Contract Lifecycle Management: Lead dispute resolution, manage contract/Purchase Order changes, and conduct formal contract audits.
- Compliance & Risk: Ensure adherence to the Global Sourcing Process (GSP), maintain Global Sourcing Approach Documents (GSAD), and manage supply chain risk.
- Stakeholder Alignment: Act as the lead for supplier interactions and align with internal budget holders to ensure ongoing service satisfaction.
Knowledge, Skills, and Experience:
Essential
- Commercial Mastery: Strong negotiation skills and deep commercial awareness developed in a complex, demanding environment.
- Procurement Expertise: Solid understanding of Category Management principles and hands-on Operational Contract Management experience.
- Technical Tools: Proficiency in SAP/Ariba (or equivalent ERP), GSP processes, and Advanced Excel for financial reconciliation.
- Communication: Proven track record of demonstrating logic and analytical thinking to influence internal and external stakeholders.
- Education: Degree qualified or equivalent professional experience.
Desirable
- Professional Qualification: MCIPS or equivalent professional certification.
- Industry Experience: Previous experience within Estates, Facilities Management, or the Automotive/Luxury retail sector.
