I am working with a leading construction management company that delivers multi-disciplinary construction, refurbishment, maintenance, and compliance services across commercial, industrial, and publicâsector environments.
Role would suit an experienced SQS looking to promote OR a Commercial Manager looking to join a progressive company.
Key Responsibilities- Manage commercial and financial performance across live construction and maintenance projects
- Produce monthly CVRs, forecasts, and performance reports
- Administer JCT/NEC contracts including variations and compensation events
- Lead procurement of subcontractors and key materials
- Build strong relationships with clients, suppliers, and internal teams
- Identify and manage commercial risks and drive commercial best practice
- Proven experience as a Commercial Manager or Senior Quantity Surveyor
- Strong understanding of JCT and/or NEC contracts
- Excellent cost control, forecasting, and commercial reporting skills
- Confident negotiator with strong clientâfacing ability
- Ability to manage multiple projects in a fastâpaced environment
- Experience in planned works, refurbishments, or maintenance services
- Degree in Quantity Surveying / Commercial Management
- Knowledge of complianceâled workstreams
