I'm recruiting on behalf of a food manufacturing business that's looking to hire an experienced Engineering Supervisor to lead engineering activity during shift and keep the plant running efficiently. This is a great opportunity for a hands-on Engineering Supervisor who thrives in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
Responsibilities
- Lead and manage a team of Engineers during your shift
- Oversee all planned and reactive maintenance activity
- Ensure minimal downtime and support production targets
- Drive a proactive maintenance culture as an Engineering Supervisor
- Support continuous improvement and engineering projects
- Maintain site compliance with health & safety and food safety standards
- Act as the senior engineering contact on shift, escalating issues when needed
Requirements
- Proven experience in a similar Engineering Supervisor or Team Leader role
- Background in food manufacturing, FMCG, or another regulated industry
- Strong mechanical and/or electrical engineering knowledge
- Confident managing teams and leading from the front
- Flexible to work rotating shifts or nights, depending on site structure
