About VirtueTech – Trainee Recruitment Consultant
At VirtueTech, success is something we have built together. In just 3.5 years, we have grown organically from a team of 2 to 16 people, without external investment and remaining proudly privately owned. Our growth has been driven by performance, culture, and long-term thinking, and we are now on a clear trajectory to double in size again throughout 2026. This is a business built on solid foundations, where every hire plays a meaningful role in shaping our future. Our culture is defined by loyalty, camaraderie, and genuine care for one another. Eleven members of our team have worked together for between 3 and 10 years, a testament to the trust, relationships, and shared values that extend well beyond the office. Unlike many recruitment businesses where leaders are ‘off the tools,’ our leadership team remains hands‑on, passionate, and deeply involved in the day‑to‑day. Learning happens through osmosis, collaboration, and example, because at VirtueTech, we all care about doing things properly and helping each other succeed.
Our business is defined by the people behind it. Whether it’s a fast‑growing start‑up or an established market leader, success always comes down to connecting exceptional talent with the right opportunities. We take a different approach to recruitment, one that goes beyond matching skills on paper. We focus on shared values, long‑term growth, and building relationships that create lasting success for both our clients and candidates.
What You’ll Do – Trainee Recruitment Consultant
The role offers the opportunity to manage the full recruitment lifecycle, from sourcing and engaging high‑quality candidates through to securing successful placements. Alongside this, you will stay up to date with market trends across Financial Tech and Energy Trading, enabling you to offer valuable insights and add genuine strategic value. From day one, you will be fully supported with structured training and development. This includes sales theory training delivered by an experienced sales trainer, regular one‑to‑one call coaching to refine your approach, and hands‑on, on‑the‑desk training to embed best practice in a real‑world environment. You will be set clear personal and team targets, with ongoing support to help you achieve them, drive business growth, and build a successful and rewarding career in recruitment.
