Overview
Operator Renewables / Oil & Gas – Hybrid
Projects: Carbon Capture / Onshore / Offshore / Hydrogen / Renewables
Responsibilities:
- Support offshore structural engineering across feasibility, FEED, troubleshooting and decommissioning phases.
- Design metallic offshore structures (fixed platforms, floating topsides) and develop FEA models.
- Design foundation elements including piles and mud mats.
- Assess and re-design existing structures, life-extension studies and inspection plans.
- Prepare technical documents: reports, specifications and scopes of work.
- Provide technical input for drawings and attend coordination meetings.
- Work closely with internal teams and other disciplines throughout project delivery.
- Liaise with clients, shipyards, contractors and certification bodies.
- Ensure compliance with offshore design standards and HSEQ requirements.
Qualifications:
- 1-3 Years experience ONLY
- Familiarity with structural and FEA software.
- Experience with DNVGL SESAM or ANSYS is an advantage.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and AutoCAD.
- Candidates must have right to work in the UK.
