We are seeking a skilled and experienced JDE World Technical Developer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the development, maintenance, and support of JD Edwards World ERP applications. This role requires strong technical expertise in RPG programming, JDE World toolset, and a deep understanding of business processes across various modules.
Your role as a JDE World technical Consultant is responsible for technical development, customization, and support of JD Edwards World ERP applications. This role involves working within the IBM iSeries (AS/400) environment, using RPG and CL programming languages to deliver solutions that meet business needs across various functional areas.
You will need to anchor the engagement effort for assignments, from business process consulting and problem definition to solution design, development, and deployment. You will be pivotal to problem definition and discovery of the overall solution and guide teams on project processes and deliverables. As a thought leader in your domain, you will be the key advisor to architecture and design reviews, and you will have the opportunity to shape value-adding consulting solutions that enable our clients to meet the changing needs of the global landscape.
Responsibilities:
- At least 10 years of Information Technology experience.
- 8+ years of experience in JDE World with RPG/CL coding as a technical consultant.
- Knowledge of RPG400, CL400, RPGILE languages and RDBMS, DB2/400, and OS400 concepts.
- Strong in developing applications and reports using JDE World tools.
- Experienced with development tools on JDE World, including SVR, SDA, RDA, FTP, Dream Writer & Work Query report writing tools.
- Knowledge of JDE World architecture and data structures.
- Retrofit standard as well as customized programs to facilitate the business.
- Created new programs as per client requirements.
- Modify standard as well as customized programs based on requests.
- Proficient in functional areas like finance, sales and distribution.
- Bug fixes in customized programs.
- Responsible for development and retrofitting of batch and interactive applications.
Required:
- Minimum 8-10 years of experience as a JDE World technical consultant.
