We are hiring a Front Desk Receptionist.
Start Date: ASAP
Contract Type: 1 year fixed‑term with possibility to renew.
Hours: Full‑time
Shift pattern: Alternating weekly between:
- Week 1: Monday – Thursday, 8:00am – 4:00pm & Saturday, 9:00am – 6:00pm
- Week 2: Monday – Friday, 1:00pm – 9:00pm
Locations: Work across multiple London clinic locations, including Harley Street (W1G 7JA), Eaton Gate (SW1W 9BJ), Pont Street (SW1X 0BD), Kensington High Street (W8 4SG) and Brook Street (W1K 5EH).
Mode of Working: In‑person at clinic locations only.
Salary: £26,500 per annum.
Benefits: 25 days’ annual leave plus UK bank holidays; private health insurance and employer pension contribution upon successful completion of probation; and access to in‑person and online CPD events.

About Us: The Chelsea Psychology Clinic (TCPC) is a highly regarded mental health and wellbeing clinic that comprises a group of private psychiatrists, psychologists and other healthcare professionals. The clinic offers a space for independent, private practitioners to work together in an integrative way to provide a range of high‑quality, client‑focused clinical services.
Key Responsibilities:
- Welcoming clients on arrival, confirming appointments, and liaising with clinicians to ensure a smooth and professional client journey.
- Managing and actioning shared administrative email inboxes, responding directly to enquiries and escalating issues where appropriate.
- Assisting with phone lines, responding to current client queries and directing calls appropriately.
- Providing administrative support to the Executive Assistant and Clinical Triage Team, including document formatting, data entry, and ad‑hoc or time‑sensitive tasks.
- Supporting the coordination of clinic CPD events, socials, and other clinic events.
- Assisting with day‑to‑day office support across clinic locations, including monitoring stock and resources, identifying issues as they arise, and liaising with relevant contacts to ensure clinics run smoothly.
- Assisting with service evaluation or research tasks when required.
Who We’re Looking For: We want to hear from individuals who:
- Have at least one year’s experience in reception or a customer service role.
- Appreciate patient care and understand the importance of confidentiality.
- Understand the implications of the Data Protection Act, Caldicott Principles and GDPR.
- Are computer literate, with accurate data entry skills and attention to detail.
- Demonstrate a professional and cooperative attitude towards clients and colleagues.
- Are confident, able to remain calm under pressure and can manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
Essential Requirements:
- Right to work in the UK (no sponsorship available).
- Ability to reliably commute to all clinic locations.
- Successful applicants will be required to obtain a DBS check prior to starting the role.
Interview Process: Shortlisted candidates will be invited to complete video responses to screening questions. Successful candidates from this stage will then be invited to a face‑to‑face interview.
