We’re looking for a Franchise Sales Manager to play a pivotal role in supporting Townhouse’s international expansion. Reporting to the Head of Franchise Development, you’ll be responsible for building and managing a high-quality franchise sales pipeline, identifying and qualifying multi-unit franchise partners across the UK and international markets.
This is a commercially focused role suited to someone who enjoys outbound lead generation, market research, and developing well-qualified franchise opportunities. You’ll own the early and mid-stages of the franchise sales process, working closely with the Head of Franchise Development on deal strategy, negotiations, and preparing opportunities for successful completion.
Key Responsibilities- Proactively identify, source, and qualify multi-unit franchise prospects through outbound outreach, market research, industry networks, and targeted lead generation.
- Own the early and mid-stages of the franchise sales process, including initial outreach, discovery, qualification, and opportunity progression.
- Assess prospective franchise partners against agreed criteria, including financial capability, operational experience, strategic fit, and alignment with Townhouse values.
- Conduct market and territory research to identify priority regions and expansion opportunities across the UK and international markets.
- Prepare, maintain, and deliver high-quality franchise presentations, pitch materials, and supporting documentation tailored to each market and partner.
- Develop and present high-level business cases and financial models to demonstrate the commercial opportunity.
- Maintain a structured and up-to-date franchise sales pipeline, ensuring clear tracking of leads, next steps, and conversion progress.
- Work closely with the Head of Franchise Development on deal strategy, negotiations, and preparation for final agreement.
- Act as the primary point of contact for prospective franchise partners throughout the pre-signature process.
- Support the onboarding of new franchisees post-signature to ensure a smooth handover to Operations and other internal teams.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with Operations, Marketing, Legal, and Finance to ensure franchise opportunities are commercially robust and brand-aligned.
- Proven experience in franchise development, international business development, or sales.
- Experience within hospitality, beauty, retail, or other consumer-facing service brands is highly desirable.
- Strong track record of generating, qualifying, and progressing partnership or franchise-led growth opportunities.
- Commercially confident, with experience supporting negotiations and deal progression with multi-unit partners.
- High level of financial literacy, with the ability to interpret, build, and present business cases and P&L models.
- Highly organised and process-driven, with strong CRM and pipeline management capability.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence senior decision-makers.
- Confident representing a premium brand and franchise proposition.
- Self-starter with a proactive, high-ownership mindset, comfortable in a fast-paced growth environment.
- Willingness to travel as required.
This is a full-time, permanent role based at our Support Centre in Central London, and we offer a hybrid working model, aligned with role requirements.
