Join an innovative engineering company operating in the RF and electronics sector – Cambridge, Hybrid Working Model. This growing engineering organisation is developing high-performance RF and electronic systems used across telecoms, defence and advanced communications. The team are now looking for an Embedded Software Engineer to take a leading role in the design, development and optimisation of embedded software for complex hardware platforms, from early concept through to volume production.
You’ll work closely with FPGA, digital and systems engineers, helping to manage, control and calibrate advanced RF platforms built on modern SoC architectures.
For this Embedded Software Engineer role, we are looking for someone with:
- Strong experience developing bare‑metal embedded software and bootloaders
- Hands‑on experience with Xilinx SoCs
- Experience working closely with FPGA based embedded software
- Good knowledge of real‑time embedded platforms
- Ability to define and document embedded software requirements
