Overview: Senior C++ Software Engineer — Location: Cambridgeshire. Working Environment: On-Site (flexibility to WFH, but ideally someone who enjoys working with the team on-site). The company is operating at the bleeding edge of the telecoms industry, developing products that are able to provide coverage where other large telco companies don't.
The role offers opportunities to work across all products with a focus on new feature development for their 5G product, used by law enforcement, private networks, safety-critical applications and more. You will be working across the entire SDLC, primarily programming in C++ on Linux, with potential to work with embedded components of the product programmed in C on RTOS.
Responsibilities:
- As a Senior Software Engineer, contribute to feature development and implementation across products, with emphasis on the 5G product and its integration into real-world use cases.
- Engage across the full software development lifecycle and collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver robust software solutions.
Key Requirements:
- 5/6 years experience programming in C++
- Experience programming on Linux OS
- Experience working across or exposure to the entire SDLC
- Experience developing software within the telecommunications industry
Desirable but not essential:
