The predicted salary is between 30000 - 42000 £ per year.
This role reports to the Operations Team Manager. This role is full time and ideally fully office based if local to our Bradford office. We will consider a fully remote role for the right candidate. Working hours are 9am-5:30pm, Monday to Friday. This role requires to undergo a security clearance process (you must have lived in the UK for 5 consecutive years to be eligible) and an enhanced DBS check. Working in a team of 10, you will be booking all aspects of travel for one of our major public sector clients. You will be providing a high level of customer service, guidance and support using predominantly email to enable the smooth running of day-to-day operations within the department.
What You Have
- Must have lived in the UK for 5 consecutive years
- At least 5 years’ recent experience as a Business Travel Consultant across all areas of travel management
- Sound, proven GDS experience – ideally with Sabre but we will train you
- Experience in the UK market
- Excellent email etiquette
- A positive attitude and willingness to go the extra mile to make things happen
- Ability to learn many different systems – we use quite a few
- Are a good team player and are willing to support others in the team
What You’ll Be Doing
- Providing high level customer service mainly via email
- Assisting with all reservations and aspects of travel including air, hotel, rail and car reservations and any other travel related requests received via any client and partners
- Assisting with emergency actions and contingency plans
- Ensuring client travel policies are adhered to correctly
- Ensuring all SLA’s and KPI’s are consistently met
- Developing and maintaining effective working relationships with colleagues in the appropriate offices
- Ensuring that all administration, both internal and external is of the highest standard
- Responding to any other reasonable duties/tasks as may be requested by your Manager or other departmental Managers

What To Expect From The Recruitment Process
Every applicant will have a Discovery call with our Talent Acquisition team. If your profile is selected you will be contacted by phone or email (please check your spam folder). If you progress through to the next stage, the hiring manager will invite you to an interview with them on Teams along with the Assistant Team Manager. If you are successful we will then invite you to our Bradford office for a final stage interview with another Senior Manager. You will then also complete either a Sabre test or a basic geography test to assess your level of knowledge. Wherever possible we will provide you with feedback; however we are a small team and often we won’t be able to do so until after we fill the vacancy.
