An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Design Manager to join the Bristol team. You’ll lead a talented group of engineers and technicians, managing detailed design stages and ensuring high-quality delivery across large-scale projects.
Key Responsibilities- Lead and manage MEP design teams through detailed design stages (BSRIA 4a–4c).
- Oversee Revit model production and ensure compliance with BIM requirements.
- Act as main client contact, building strong relationships and securing future opportunities.
- Chair team meetings, delegate tasks, and monitor project progress and expenditure.
- Ensure technical accuracy, quality standards, and risk mitigation.
- Contribute to improving processes and developing service capability.
- Proven experience as a proactive building services design manager.
- Strong technical knowledge in mechanical engineering (ideal) and understanding of other disciplines.
- Skilled in detailed design delivery for stage 4 projects, ideally with MEP installer experience.
- Excellent communication, organisational, and leadership skills.
- Familiarity with Revit for review purposes and BIM compliance.
- Knowledge of buildability and commissioning requirements.
