I am representing a leading specialist in automotive parts, styling, and performance upgrades. They are seeking an experienced Trade Sales Manager to lead a sales team, drive growth, and build long-term relationships with professional customers, including workshops and specialist performance garages.
Key Responsibilities:- Lead, manage, and motivate the Trade Sales Team, monitoring performance and KPIs.
- Drive daily sales to achieve monthly revenue targets.
- Strengthen relationships with existing trade customers and onboard new ones.
- Oversee outbound activity, quoting, account management, and margin control.
- Ensure team adherence to internal processes, SOPs, and credit procedures.
- Proven experience in Trade Sales, B2B Account Management, or Sales Management.
- Background in automotive, aftermarket parts, industrial supply, wholesale, or similar trade-driven sectors.
- Experience leading teams in high-pressure, fast-paced environments.
- Strong commercial awareness — understands margins, pricing, stock flow, and processes.
- Highly organised, detail-driven, and able to make quick decisions.
- Comfortable with occasional weekend work for automotive events or car shows.
- Strong leadership with ability to coach, motivate, and hold teams accountable.
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
- Ability to manage KPIs, targets, and daily structured activity.
