A growing MGA is seeking a Quality Assurance Analyst to join its Compliance function in a newly created role. This opportunity has arisen due to continued growth within the underwriting function and increased demand for high-quality compliance and audit oversight.
The role sits within the compliance team and focuses primarily on file-based audits, reviewing underwriting and/or claims files against defined criteria and providing clear, constructive feedback. The successful candidate will work closely with underwriting and other business teams, helping to embed good practices and build strong working relationships across the business.
The position involves completing a high volume of audits (approximately 90 per month), alongside ad-hoc compliance tasks and stakeholder meetings.
Key Responsibilities- Conduct predominantly file-based audits of underwriting and/or claims files
- Assess files against agreed audit criteria and compliance standards
- Provide clear, balanced feedback and support remediation where required
- Build effective working relationships with underwriters and other stakeholders
- Support wider compliance and audit activities as needed
- Minimum 1 year’s experience within Quality Assurance
- Background in commercial lines or MGA preferred; personal lines also considered
- Strong file-based audit experience (e.g. Underwriting, claims or quality assurance audits)
- Experience working closely with underwriting teams or reviewing underwriting activity
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work to volume-based targets
- Confident communicator with a collaborative approach
Salary - up to £38,000 DOE. This role is office-based for the first two months, after which it will move to a hybrid model (two days per week in the office). Candidates must live within a reasonable commuting distance.
