The Job: Join Stanley Engineered Fastening and become the driving force behind our automotive business in the UK. We’re looking for a passionate Key Account Manager to build and nurture relationships with our key automotive customers, while leading application and business development.
What You’ll Do (Responsibilities)
- Champion new product innovation and grow our presence with leading automotive OEMs and Tier suppliers
- Build strong partnerships, understand customer needs, and deliver tailored fastening solutions
- Develop and execute strategic plans to win new business and protect existing accounts
- Own customer relationships—be their voice inside Stanley and ensure their requirements are met
- Collaborate with customers to develop products for cutting-edge vehicle platforms
- Support exciting build events, technology shows, and key meetings
- Drive quoting and pricing strategies, providing valuable market insights
The Person (Qualifications)
- Bachelor's degree (preferably in engineering) or equivalent experience
- Proven sales experience with OEMs or large customers
- Solid background in the fastener industry
- Experience in application development with OEM or Tier 1 suppliers
- Strong focus on building and maintaining customer relationships
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, and negotiation skills
