ASSISTANT STORE MANAGER – PREMIUM FOOTWEAR & ACCESSORIES (TRAVEL RETAIL). We are recruiting an Assistant Store Manager for a high-footfall airport flagship representing a well-established, premium British fashion & accessories brand. This is a fast-paced, high-visibility travel retail environment, ideal for a confident retail leader who thrives under pressure and leads from the front.

Responsibilities

  • Drive commercial performance across all KPIs including sales, conversion, ATV, UPT, labour, and shrink.
  • Be a strong, visible presence on the shop floor, delivering exceptional service at pace.
  • Recruit, coach, and retain high-performing talent, building a stable and engaged team.
  • Maintain exceptional operational, compliance, and visual standards in line with brand expectations.
  • Partner closely with the Store and Area Manager / Head Office to deliver exceptional results.

About You

  • A current Assistant Store Manager or an exceptional Supervisor ready to step up.
  • 3+ years experience within high-volume fashion, footwear, or accessories retail.
  • Proven experience leading teams of a similar size and turnover.
  • Calm, credible, and commercially strong in high-pressure environments.
  • A people-first leader who values kindness, inclusivity, and individuality.
  • Fully flexible to work 8-hour shifts between 4am–10pm, across all days.
