Account Manager - Managed Services + VAR (multiple roles) – Managed IT Services, Cloud & Digital Infrastructure – Hybrid – Essex | 4 days/week in office + client meetings across the South East
Compensation: £35k–60k base (DOE) + uncapped commission (OTE £70k–£100k)

The Role
This is a newly created Account Manager position reflective of an expansion to an already successful Sales team, ideal for a driven sales professional who enjoys managing high-revenue generating accounts and winning new logos. Reporting directly to the Sales Director, you will be responsible for identifying, developing, and closing new opportunities while working closely with technical and delivery teams to present high-quality, tailored solutions. While the primary focus is new business acquisition, you will also nurture early-stage accounts to ensure long-term growth and customer success.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify and win new business opportunities across managed IT services, cloud, and digital infrastructure.
- Build and manage a strong sales pipeline through proactive prospecting, networking, and outbound activity.
- Own the full sales lifecycle, from initial engagement through to proposal, negotiation, and close.
- Work closely with pre-sales and technical teams to scope, design, and present tailored solutions.
- Develop trusted relationships with decision-makers and influencers within target organisations.
- Maintain accurate forecasting, pipeline reporting, and CRM updates.
- Attend client meetings across the South East and be an active presence in the Basildon HQ (4 days per week).
What We’re Looking For
- Proven experience in B2B new business sales within an MSP, VAR, or technology-led environment.
- Strong understanding of managed services, cloud solutions, and IT infrastructure sales cycles.
- A self-motivated, results-driven approach with a track record of hitting and exceeding targets.
- Confident communicator with the ability to engage senior stakeholders and articulate value clearly.
- Comfortable working in a structured sales environment with KPIs and pipeline accountability.
