The predicted salary is between 18 - 28 £ per hour.

£23.38 p/h PAYE • 37 Hours per Week (Mon–Thurs, Days & Nights). BAE Systems is seeking Aircraft Mechanic – RAF Marham on a 12-Month Contract. This is a fantastic opportunity to work on mission-critical military aircraft, undertaking a range of maintenance activities on F35 aircraft or aircraft components.

Responsibilities

  • Carry out maintenance tasks in line with Approved Technical Information and risk assessments.
  • Maintain accurate documentation and ensure all airworthiness records are up to standard.
  • Report issues promptly and escalate when required.
  • Follow all organisational procedures, including the MOE and company standards.
  • Apply Safety Management System principles, including human factors and error management.
  • Ensure compliance with Continuing Airworthiness Assurance requirements.
  • Perform a range of maintenance activities, including inspections, repairs, modifications, fault-finding, component changes, and system tests.
  • Complete planned and unplanned maintenance tasks, including diagnostics, in line with aircraft work packages.

Requirements

  • Completion of an Engineering Apprenticeship, ideally in Aeronautical Engineering or equivalent military qualifications.
  • Academic qualification for this role is a minimum of City & Guilds 2675 or 2661 in Aeronautical Engineering and Maintenance or equivalent.
