About The Role

You will coordinate the structuring, formation, documentation, and negotiation of EMEA regulated private equity and credit funds.

You will advise on fund launches and ongoing legal matters, negotiate commercial agreements, manage regulatory filings and disclosures, prepare board materials, maintain compliance calendars, and improve legal processes.

Requirements

  • Bachelor of Laws (LLB) or equivalent.
  • 4–6 years of fund formation experience at a reputable law firm and/or asset manager.
  • Written communication skills.
  • Interpersonal skills and the ability to build relationships with business teams.
  • Ability to interact effectively at all levels of the firm.
  • Attention to detail, organization, and ability to prioritize competing deadlines.
  • Ability to work as a team member.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate outside counsel on drafting, reviewing, and negotiating fund documentation for EMEA evergreen commingled funds.
  • Advise on the structuring, launch, and closing of new funds and investment products.
  • Manage day-to-day legal matters for existing evergreen products.
  • Draft and negotiate distribution, platform, fund management, and other commercial agreements for EMEA products.
  • Provide practical, risk-adjusted legal advice to internal stakeholders and senior leadership.
  • Develop and maintain internal frameworks for regulatory, operational, and legal risks.
  • Oversee regulatory filings, disclosures, and service-provider reporting for EMEA regulated funds.
  • Coordinate preparation of board materials for EMEA regulated products.
  • Develop and maintain regulatory compliance calendars.
  • Review and update precedent agreements, internal processes, and outside counsel guidelines.
  • Identify and drive process improvements.
  • Undertake special projects as required.
