Trainee Events Coordinator role involves planning and delivering public events such as Christmas Light Switch-Ons, St Patrick's Day celebrations, and local festivals. No previous events experience required; full training and support will be provided.

Responsibilities

  • Assist in planning and organising a variety of community events and festivals.
  • Support the coordination of event logistics, including equipment, scheduling, suppliers, and on-site crew.
  • Help with event set-up, on-site operations during events, and post-event pack-down.
  • Communicate with performers, suppliers, partners, and community organisations under team guidance.
  • Assist with booking talent and preparing stage and activity schedules.
  • Track and manage event equipment, props, and materials to ensure they are organised and available.
  • Maintain accurate event documentation, records, and administrative files.
  • Follow health, safety, and event-management procedures to support safe event delivery.
  • Work closely with the events management team, contributing ideas and supporting team tasks as needed.
