These new Shop Assistant roles have been created specifically for the JobStart Scheme to support the day-to-day running of Inner Angel Health’s clinic, retail area, and wider wellness business. Participants will gain hands-on experience in customer service, retail operations, digital promotion, and general administration within a professional health and wellbeing environment.

Responsibilities

  • Welcome customers and assist with product information, sales, and service queries.
  • Operate the till and point-of-sale systems, handling payments and receipts.
  • Support the team in preparing promotional materials and basic digital content for social media or marketing campaigns.
  • Restock shelves, maintain display areas, and assist with stock checks and deliveries.
  • Help with general administrative tasks such as booking support, data entry, and client communication.
  • Maintain high standards of hygiene, presentation, and professionalism within the clinic.
  • Contribute to preparing and organising materials for workshops and training sessions.

Skills and Qualifications

  • Good communication and interpersonal skills with a professional manner.
  • Basic computer literacy (Microsoft Office or equivalent).
  • Attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately.
  • Organised, and able to multitask in a busy environment.
  • Interest in health, wellbeing, or customer care.
  • Experience in retail, hospitality, or customer service.

JobStart Opportunity - Working Hours Information:

  • Standard Hours: up to 25 hours per week.
  • Flexible/Reduced Hours: May be available upon approval by a Work Coach.
  • Additional Hours: The employer may offer extra hours depending on availability. This should be discussed directly with the employer before starting employment.
