The Rainbow Project, as a leading charity working for LGBTQIA plus people across Northern Ireland, has a centre in Derry/Londonderry where we provide various services including Health & Wellbeing, Peer Social Groups, Rainbow Youth & Training services.
The Foyle Services Assistant will support the Foyle staff team in executing administrative and organisational tasks, supporting centre coverage and assisting in the delivery of services.
Responsibilities:- Answering phone calls from service-users and professionals.
- Corresponding with service-users and managing appointment bookings.
- Supporting the day-to-day operation of the centre.
- Assisting in the delivery of Health & Wellbeing services.
- Supporting facilitation of peer social groups.
- Supporting facilitation and administration of training services.
- Accurately input feedback and evaluations of services into digital systems.
- Attend and represent The Rainbow Project at events as directed.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Willingness to learn and adapt to new skills.
- Ability to hold confidential information with respect and discretion in accordance with GDPR.
- An understanding of emotional health & wellbeing.
- An understanding of LGBTQIA plus rights and community issues.
- Standard Hours: up to 25 hours per week.
- Flexible/Reduced Hours: May be available upon approval by a Work Coach.
- Additional Hours: The employer may offer extra hours depending on availability. This should be discussed directly with the employer before starting employment.
