THE EMPLOYER IS: JOSHUA\βS CONVENIENCE STORE
We are hoping to continue the successful candidates on as many aspects of the business that they wish to learn, i.e. ordering, dealing with representatives etc. Needs to be aged 18 or above (or close to it) for sale of age restricted products. Serving customers using electronic till system, processing PayPoint transactions and lottery sales. Receiving deliveries and stock rotation. General housekeeping. Assisting customers with queries. May include lifting of heavy products i.e. bags of coal, cases of coca cola, gas cylinders, etc.
Responsibilities
- Following age restriction polices.
- Completing required health and safety, hygiene records and maintaining them.
- Ensuring payments etc are processed correctly.
- Stock rotation and management.
- Working a part of a team.
Skills and Qualifications
- Basic numeracy skills to count money etc.
- Good communication.
- Capable of meeting the physical demands of the job, to lift up to 25kg items.
- Fully flexible regarding hours of work, so they can learn dayβtime and evening duties.
- Flexible approach to work, to learn all aspects of the business.
