This receptionist role involves managing the front desk and serving as the first point of contact by greeting visitors. The position also includes answering calls, scheduling appointments, handling mail, and providing administrative support to ensure smooth office operations and a welcoming atmosphere. Responsibilities may also include managing treatment rooms, offering basic IT support, and maintaining office supplies.

  • Greet, check-in, and direct visitors, offer refreshments, and issue security passes.
  • Answer, screen, and forward incoming calls, take messages, and handle general inquiries in person, by phone, and email.
  • Manage calendars, book meeting rooms, schedule appointments, and coordinate events.
  • Handle incoming/outgoing mail, deliveries, data entry, filing, scanning, and potentially expense reports.
  • Keep the reception area tidy and presentable, monitor office supplies, and liaise with facilities/IT.

Further Information

Standard Hours: up to 25 hours per week. Flexible/Reduced Hours: May be available upon approval by a Work Coach. Additional Hours: The employer may offer extra hours depending on availability. This should be discussed directly with the employer before starting employment.
