The Production Administrator provides administrative and operational support to the production team, ensuring production schedules, documentation, and reporting processes run smoothly. This role acts as a key link between production, procurement, logistics, and management to help maintain efficient and compliant production operations.
Responsibilities
- Provide administrative support to the production department.
- Prepare, update, and maintain production schedules and reports.
- Process production orders, work orders, and job tickets.
- Maintain accurate production records, including output, downtime, and quality data.
- Coordinate with procurement and inventory teams to ensure material availability.
- Assist with planning and tracking production targets and KPIs.
- Support compliance with health, safety, and quality standards.
- Manage documentation such as SOPs, batch records, and production logs.
- Communicate production updates to relevant departments.
- Handle data entry and maintain production systems (ERP/MRP systems).
- Assist with audits, inspections, and internal reviews.
- Perform general administrative duties including filing, meeting coordination, and correspondence.

Further Information
Standard Hours: up to 25 hours per week. Flexible/Reduced Hours: May be available upon approval by a Work Coach. Additional Hours: The employer may offer extra hours depending on availability. This should be discussed directly with the employer before starting employment.
