The predicted salary is between 12 - 13 £ per hour.

This role is designed for an individual interested in the technical side of theatre and event production. You will manage our new technical equipment and costume stock, preparing items for rental while undergoing professional training to become a qualified theatre technician.

Technical Mentorship: You will receive direct training from experienced industry professionals, gaining "on-the-job" experience in live sound and lighting design.

Commercial Exposure: You will be at the forefront of our new rental business, learning how to manage client relationships and commercial contracts.

Professional Equipment: You will have access to professional-grade equipment, including the latest in digital audio and LED lighting technology.

Career Growth: We aim to develop this role into a permanent Technical Lead position as our rental and technical training departments expand.

Responsibilities:

  • Maintain sound and lighting equipment and costume stock, ensuring all items are logged and ready for use.
  • Handle logistics for equipment and costume rentals, including bookings, contracts, and billing.
  • Undergo technical theatre training to operate sound and lighting systems during live school productions.
  • Serve as an on-site technician for rental clients once fully trained.
  • Ensure all technical areas comply with safety regulations and equipment standards.

  • Interest in stage technology, including sound reinforcement and lighting rigs.
  • Strong organisational skills for managing physical inventory and schedules.
